HEJ!

I am a

sound designer,

musician,

and performance art enthusiast

from Visby, Sweden.
Welcome to my portfolio!

My musical journey began as an electronic music artist. A pivotal moment came when I was invited to compose a musical theater piece. This opportunity launched me into the vibrant world of music and sound design for theater, leading to a production that broke ticket sales records and deepened my passion for sound design and music composition that enhances storytelling and drama.

Expanding beyond my comfort zone, I served as both sound designer and composer for the groundbreaking musical performance "Vartavar" which further broadened my artistic horizons by designing original instruments tailored specifically for the project.

Continuing to diversify my portfolio, I composed music for a successful short film, earning recognition and valuable experience. Throughout my career, awards and acknowledgments have been gratifying, yet my core focus remains on authentic expression and continuous growth. Recently, I've become increasingly fascinated by adaptive music and sound design for games, and I'm actively honing my skills while seeking new opportunities to collaborate and learn in this exciting area.

Also, I am stepping into filmmaking! At the end of 2023, I received a grant from Film På Gotland and am excitedly preparing to begin production on my film project in 2025.

For me, every project is an opportunity to challenge myself, innovate, and create.

Portfolio - Showcase of My Recent Work

PROJECT LIBERATION (Video Game)

Project Liberation is an in-development video game where I serve as the sound designer and music scorer. With the story still evolving, I enjoy my creative freedom in selecting music genres and envisioning the dramatic dynamics of the soundtrack. This flexibility extends to crafting various sound effects (SFX), including alien fauna, with some examples showcased in the soundtrack's intro

My work also includes creating a wide range of SFX, from explosive impacts and melee and ranged combat sounds to human and monstrous effects, such as falling, taking hits, striking, healing, and expressions of panic and fear.

VARTAVAR (Musical Performance)

As the dramaturge, sound designer, and music composer for this distinctive musical performance focused on the theme - the concept of "Woman" I immersed myself in the creation of an evocative soundscape. Exploring the raw sound textures of glass, metal, and plastic. I sculpted a soundscape that intimately resonates with the essence of the subject - society relations.

؟ (Performance Proposal)

I prepared this performance idea demonstration video for the Mokhtas Experimental Theater Festival in Bandar Ganaveh, Iran, in 2020. The jury members were Narges Hashempour, Hamid Pourazari, and Mehdi Mashhour.

This was my first solo project in performing arts and I am actively pursuing an opportunity to bring it to life.

  • Second place appreciation letter and the second prize for the Best Performing Idea.

(Subtitle is available for the video)

ELDERS (Short Film)

This is one of the six soundtracks I composed working as the film scorer, for the Elders short film, directed by Ramin Jahangirzadeh and Parisa Sedaei Azar. This project has been very successful with many awards from international festivals.

The challenge was to balance comedic elements with romantic themes, and I believe the showcased soundtrack effectively demonstrates my ability to navigate and blend these contrasting moods.

  • Best Original Music (Le Chouette Festival / France)
  • Best Music (Daka Film Festival / Bangladesh)

FAKHROZAMAN (Theater)

I worked as the sound designer and music scorer for this theater production, employing two distinct sound sources. The process of mixing and seamlessly transitioning between them proved to be a fascinating and unique experience. One of the sources was positioned behind a window, while the other emanated from a gramophone.

  • Appreciation Letter for the Best Music for Theater ( Ardabil Annual Theater Festival / Iran)

THE LAST STATION (Ad)

I did the sound designing and scoring for this promo for The Last Station game.

The Last Station is a game of intrigue and deduction set in the times of "Reza Shah" in Iran in which players are trying to survive on the last train home.
